Build your brief.
Answer what you can and skip what you cannot. You get a request for proposal of two pages at most, to send to one practice or every practice on your shortlist. It runs in your browser: nothing you type is stored unless you choose to send it through PBA.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a personal branding brief?
A request for proposal of two pages at most: who you are, where things stand, what you want a personal branding agency to achieve, who needs to know you, how you want to work, your budget tier, your timeline, and the questions every proposal should answer. Sending the same brief to every practice makes their proposals comparable.
Is anything I type sent or stored?
Not unless you send it. The Brief Builder runs in your browser, and a draft is kept only on this device so you can come back to it; Clear removes it. If you choose Send It Through PBA, your name, email, request and any file go to that one practice once you confirm by email, and Personal Branding Agencies keeps them for 90 days.
How do I send the brief to an agency?
Choose the practice under Address it to, or press Send This Practice a Brief on its listing. Send It Through PBA delivers it to the practice's Workspace, with your own file attached if you have one, once you confirm by email; the practice then replies to you directly. Open in Email starts a message to the practice's public email instead. You can also print it or save it as a PDF, copy it as text, or download it as a text file.
What should I ask once proposals come back?
Ask each practice what exactly is delivered, by whom, by when, and how progress will be measured. The questions to ask a personal branding agency in the PBA Wiki go further.
