A listing is not an endorsement

Vetting confirms that an agency exists, that the information it gave us checks out at the time of review, and that it has signed the Code of Ethics. It is a verification of identity and stated credentials. It is not a judgment that the agency will do good work for you, and it is not a recommendation.

We do not guarantee outcomes

No listed agency guarantees results through this directory, and neither do we. Personal branding outcomes depend on factors outside any agency's control. Any agency promising a specific outcome is doing something the Code of Ethics prohibits, and you can report it.

Information comes from the agencies

Team size, clients served, founding year, specialties, and AI disclosures are supplied by the agencies and confirmed to the extent reasonably possible during review. We are not auditors, and we do not inspect financial records or client files. If you rely on a specific figure, ask the agency to substantiate it directly.

Information is accurate as at the time of review and may become out of date.

Ratings and rankings

Ratings come from reviews by people who have confirmed they were clients. They are opinions, not findings of fact, and honest clients can reasonably disagree about the same engagement.

The PBA Power Ranking is a calculation from those ratings and review volume. It is a summary of what reviewers have said, not an assessment of quality by us. Its method is published in full so you can judge what it is worth.

Paid placement

Some agencies pay for placement and presentation. Every paid placement is labeled as such wherever it appears. Payment never affects vetting approval, ratings, ranking position, or how a report about that agency is handled.

The founder listing is the directory operator's own agency. It is permanently displayed first and labeled as the founder, and it is held to every criterion.

Absence from the directory means nothing

Many capable agencies are not listed here, because they have not applied, are still in review, or chose not to participate. Not appearing in this directory is not a negative statement about any business.
