How it is given

  • Numbered by the date vetting was completed, the earliest first.
  • Given automatically when the listing goes live. There is no fee, no form, and no exception.
  • Kept for as long as the practice stays listed. A number is never reused or passed on.
  • The founder listing and the sample listings are not counted.
  • It has no effect on vetting, ratings, the PBA Power Ranking, Find Your Match, or the order of the directory.

What is a Founding Member?

One of the first 25 practices to pass vetting and be listed on Personal Branding Agencies. Each carries a numbered Founding Member badge on its listing and its card, in the order its vetting was completed.

How does a practice become one?

By applying and passing vetting while places remain. There is nothing to buy and nothing to request: the badge is given automatically when the listing goes live, on the same terms as every listing.

What happens after the last place is taken?

The badge closes for good. The practice vetted after the 25th place is filled is listed on exactly the same terms, without the badge, and no further Founding Member numbers are ever given.

Can a Founding Member lose the badge?

Only by leaving the directory. A practice that is delisted no longer shows the badge, and its number is not passed on to anyone else.

Does the badge affect ranking or vetting?

No. It records when a practice joined. It has no effect on vetting, ratings, the PBA Power Ranking, Find Your Match, or the order of the directory.

Is the founder listing a Founding Member?

No. The founder listing carries its own Founder label, so it is not counted, and every one of the 25 places goes to a practice vetted by PBA.
