Personal Branding Agencies The vetted directory

The Editorial

Editorial Standards.

The rules every piece on the Editorial is held to, the same way every listing is held to the seven criteria and the Code of Ethics.

Who May Contribute

Contributor positions are open to named people at agencies that are currently listed in the directory. Every listed agency has passed the vetting review. There is no open submissions path, and a byline is not for sale at any plan tier: no piece is sponsored, paid for, or placed in exchange for anything.

How Every Piece Is Reviewed

Every piece is read by the PBA team before it runs. We check that claims about results, clients, and figures are supported, that quoted material is quoted accurately and attributed, and that the piece meets the voice and accuracy standard of the rest of the directory. We may reject a piece or ask for another round of editing.

Independence

Editorial and vetting are separate. Publishing on the Editorial has no bearing on a listing, its rating, or its place in the Power Ranking, and a rejection never counts against an agency. A Contributor marker reflects published work. It is not an endorsement.

AI Disclosure

AI disclosure is one of the seven listing criteria, and it applies here too. A contributor who uses AI to draft or edit a piece says so, and the piece remains the named author's responsibility. Bylines are always people.

Corrections

When a piece contains an error of fact, we correct it in the text and note the correction and its date at the end of the piece. A substantive change updates the piece's modified date. To report an error, write to editorial@personalbrandingagencies.com (opens in a new tab) with the page and what is wrong.

Feedback

Readers, subjects of a piece, and contributors can reach the Editorial at editorial@personalbrandingagencies.com (opens in a new tab). Every message is read, and a request for a correction always gets an answer.

Ownership and Rights

Personal Branding Agencies is owned and operated by Mashman Consulting Group LLC. Contributors and their agencies keep ownership of their work: publishing here is permission to run it, not a transfer of rights. If an agency leaves the directory, its pieces come down with its listing, because every byline rests on a current listing.

Masthead

The Editorial is published by Personal Branding Agencies, a property of Mashman Consulting Group, and edited by the PBA team at editorial@personalbrandingagencies.com (opens in a new tab). Contributors are listed on the Contributor Network.
