Mashman Consulting Group today launched Personal Branding Agencies at personalbrandingagencies.com, the vetted industry directory for personal branding agencies, consultancies, and independent consultants, all listed on identical terms and held to the same seven criteria.
Every listing is vetted by MCG: identity confirmed, track record reviewed, and sworn to the industry's only published Code of Ethics. The directory's standard is in its name line: Personal Branding Agencies Directory: Vetted, Not Bought.
Seven Vetting Criteria
- Code of Ethics. A signed commitment; breaking it or disagreeing with any part ends a listing.
- AI Disclosure. A published position on AI use. Concealing it is disqualifying; using it is not.
- Primary Focus: Personal Branding. At least 70 percent of the practice's client work.
- Specialization. A defined lane, stated plainly.
- Verifiable Website. A live site that plainly identifies the business.
- Verifiable Social Media Footprint. At least one independently confirmable professional profile.
- Legitimate Legal Filing. A registered entity or a properly filed sole practice.
A Published Code of Ethics
Every listed practice commits to seven principles: organic growth comes first; AI is disclosed, not concealed; earned press, honestly earned; truth in results; identity before image; transparent pricing; and the client owns the brand. Reports are reviewed by MCG, the agency may respond, and a confirmed violation is permanent removal. Paid advertising and paid newswire distribution are not violations. Manufactured proof is.
A Ranking That Cannot Be Bought
The Power Ranking is built on verified client reviews only. Every review needs a working email and is confirmed with the reviewer before it is published, and a person reads every one. Rating weighs more than volume, ratings are pulled toward the directory-wide average until enough reviews support them, and an agency below the minimum is unranked rather than last. The ranking recalculates automatically, with no editorial override.
Nothing else moves it: not paid plans, featured placement, the founder listing, time listed, size, self-description, or any relationship with MCG.

A vetted listing costs nothing, with no application fee, and applications receive a response within five business days. Paid plans, launching in 2027, buy placement and presentation only, never vetting approval, ratings, review counts, or the Power Ranking.
Mashman Consulting Group holds the permanent first listing, labeled Founder and not for sale. It is self-vetted against the same criteria as every other listing and receives no advantage in the Power Ranking. A listing is not an endorsement, and neither PBA nor MCG brokers engagements.

Visitors can browse by audience, specialty, and city, save practices to a shortlist kept in their own browser, and read a guide to choosing an agency that uses the same checks the directory applies.
